How often is the fabrication map updated?

The database is updated quarterly. We cross-reference public corporate filings, ISO/AS certification registries, shipping manifests, and direct supplier audits to ensure capacity figures remain accurate.

Do you track Tier-2 and Tier-3 suppliers?

Currently, the directory is strictly focused on Tier-1 OEMs, massive primary foundries, and raw material processing megaplants. We intend to map Tier-2 subsystem assemblers in Q4 2026.

How does the RFQ tool work?

Our built-in RFQ (Request for Quotation) generator formats your technical requirements into a standardized industrial blob format. You can export this as a .txt file or copy it to your clipboard to deploy directly to procurement officers at the mapped facilities.

Is the data verified for ISO 9001 compliance?

We flag facilities based on their publicly declared certifications (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949). However, independent verification and auditing remain the responsibility of the procuring entity.

Do you include contract manufacturers like Foxconn?

Yes, heavy contract manufacturers (EMS providers) are mapped under our electronics and automotive assembly sectors, tracking specific campus capacities.

Can I use this data for academic supply chain research?

Yes. Basic node data and geographical mapping are openly available. Intensive historical throughput data requires commercial licensing.
